Covid-19 & How it affects us all (Health Edition)

First off, I hope we're all staying safe out there. We are experiencing an unprecedented event in our lifetime. At this point, everyone should be staying at home as much as they can. New York City is way past containing the virus and the CDC is recommending social distancing to flatten the curve. That means not going out unless absolutely necessary in an effort to reduce the number of cases to help the hospitals and ICUs which have a limited amount of beds. Most doctor offices and clinics are not testing for Coronavirus and have moved to tele-visits to prevent transmission. Please call your doctor's office before going to the ER if possible to determine if it's necessary. We are recommending only going to the ER if you suspect you have covid-19 if you are in any respiratory distress or having trouble breathing. People can be carriers without any symptoms which is why this makes the virus so dangerous. Please help reduce the risk of transmission by staying home.
